Spectre is coming out this week so now is a great time to dive into the gaming library of our favourite secret agent. Go make yourself a vodka-martini, shaken not stirred off course, and fire up one of these games to get in the right mood for the movie. Here are the five best Bond games ever made!
5. GoldenEye 007: Reloaded
Woah no, not that Goldeneye, thats coming later. GoldenEye 007: Reloaded is the reimagining of Rare’s masterpiece. This updated version modernised the gameplay with Call of Duty-like controls and replaced Pierce Brosnan with Daniel Craig. It took some getting used to but in the end the game was as a fitting tribute to the Nintendo 64 classic we all love.
4. From Russia with Love
From Russia with Love gave us the pleasant surprise of playing a young Sean Connery in digital form. It even came with new voice work from the man himself. The gameplay was a good mix of third-person shooting and racing but what really made it stand out was how it actually made you feel like you were playing through a classic Bond movie.
3. James Bond 007: Nightfire
James Bond 007: Nightfire is another great first-person-shooter with explosive action, high-speed car chases and beautiful women. We prefer the...

Nowadays Japanese games are correctly translated... well, most of them anyway. But back in the day Japanese developers didn't have the budget or manpower for a good translation. This resulted in truly hilarious cases of Engrish. Here is our Top 5 Engrish in games!
5 - Metal Gear - NES
So imagine you're a native English speaker playing Metal Gear on the N.E.S. You're having a great time until.... Modern Metal Gear is still not easy to understand but at least it's not because of bad spelling.
4 - X-Men - Arcade game
Did he just say welcome to die? ... Guess grammar isn't important if you're Magneto...
3 - Ghostbusters - NES
The ending of Ghostbusters on the NES is a perfect example of Engrish. The serious Japanese message about honor just becomes comical when translated into English. And the spelling, o god the spelling...
2 - Ghosts N' Goblins - NES
To beat Ghosts N' Goblins you have to beat Satan and the entire rest of the game twice. And both times you get a message in broken English... "This story is happy end." Well, that's good to know.
1 - Zero Wing - Mega Drive
The Mega Drive or Genesis game Zero Wing is the number one in our top 5. Almost all the lines in the intro...

Evil comes in all shapes and sizes. But the true face of evil is of course the devil himself. Here are the five best portrayals of true evil in gaming!
5. - The Darkness - Darkness series
Demonic arms might not be the most classical representation of the devil. But when an evil voice wants you to do terrible things, you must admit The Darkness sure smells a lot like Lucifer.
4. - Satan - The Binding of Isaac
In The Binding of Isaac you lock yourself in a basement because your own mom wants to kill you. As if that isn't messed up enough you found a whole bunch monsters there including good old Satan. He voices lines from your Mom played backwards. Boy that's creepy.
3. - Lucius - Lucius
Lucius might just be the son of the devil but that doesn't make him any less evil. All sorts of 'accidents' happen around this kid. Lucius was born on June 6th in 1966 and on his sixth birthday, he started showing signs of his true origin. I'm sure his father would be very proud.
2. - Lucifer - Dante's Inferno
In Dante's Inferno you literally travel through the nine circles of hell to kill the ultimate evil, Lucifer. It doesn't take long before he reveals his true form ... which is kind of impressive. Who knew...

What ever happened to ending games on a high note? With this list we honor the video game men and women that didn’t make it before the credits rolled. Get ready for the top 5 games where you die at the end! And spoiler alert of course.
5. Assassin's Creed 3
The death of Desmond Miles in Assassin's Creed 3 was a big shock to us. After starring in the first three Assassin's Creed games his story ended with him sacrificing himself to save the world. Sure, it was a hero's death, but that didn't make it any easier to deal with.
4. Shadow of the Colossus
In Shadow of the Colossus you pay the ultimate price for killing 16 innocent giants in order to bring a lost love back to life. Ironically in the final battle you are turned into a Colossus yourself and killed by humans. It’s not all bad since the girl does come back to life and you are reborn as a horned baby.
3. Walking Dead Season 1
Many gamers were touched by the death of Lee Everet in first season of the Walking Dead. The protagonist had done his very best to protect Clementine. Now it was that same little girl that had to make the impossible choice of letting him turn into a zombie or killing him on the spot. What a sad ending to such a great game.

The act of trolling is part and parcel when it comes to video games. From corner-trapping people in multiplayer all the way to destroying peoples Minecraft creations. But sometimes, games take it upon themselves to deliberately troll players just because they can. Bring on the trolls!
5. Grand Theft Auto V - "Death at Sea" mission
How does hours and hours of collecting bits of scrap on the sea floor for minimum pay sound to you? Well, GTA V's dreaded "Death at Sea" mission is just that. And your prize for this mindnumbing work? Ten fucking dollars. If we had it our way, you'd be collecting the BODY PARTS of this jackass in GTA 6 and we'd give you a million dollars!
4. DmC: Devil May Cry - New do!
When the latest entry in the DMC series was first revealed, there was one thing in particular the hardcore fans took an immediate hatred towards. But it wasn't the changes to the gameplay, the Westernized style or the new story approach. No, it was Dante's hair. Yep, his hair. So what did Ninja Theory decide to do following the fanboy uproar? Ouch! That burned!
3. Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty - Raiden
Those were the words screamed at TVs by millions the world over. Twenty minutes in and one boss battle later, Solid...

Super Mario Bros. turned 30 yesterday and the plumber hasn't aged one bit. He has appeared in so many games over the last thirty years and some weren't even made by Nintendo! Here are our top 5 Mario references in other games!
5. Assassin's Creed 2
Do you remember the first words Mario ever uttered on the Nintendo 64? Ubisoft certainly remembers judging by this scene in Assassin's Creed 2. They made another reference with an achievement called "Principessa in Another Castello." Guess they just couldn't resist with a game that takes place in Mario's homeland.
4. Asterix & Obelix XXL 2: Mission: Las Vegum
Asterix & Obelix XXL 2: Mission: Las Vegum is full of references to other games. And of course they also had to include a reference to everybody's favorite plumber. This poor Mario Sunshine knock-off is too ugly to live so we were glad they made him an enemy you could stomp.
3. Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel!
Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel has a room themed after Mario, complete with a retro graphical style and warp pipes. The designers even put an Easter egg within the Easter egg! Just like the second level of the original Super Mario Bros. you can hop onto the ceiling to access the secret Warp Zone. And it has three...

The Playstation 2 came out on March 4th in the year 2000 in Japan. So this week marks the 15th birthday of this glorious console. Get ready for our five favourite PS2 games of all time!
5. God of War II
God of War II was released late in the Playstation 2s life cycle and really pushed the machine to its limits. The ion was bigger, bloodier and surprisingly better looking on the prically ancient hardware. God of War took us on a thrilling adventure through ancient Greece while delivering some of the most satisfyingly combat ever created.
4. Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater
We think Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater is the best Metal Gear Solid game ever made. It moved the stealth ion into a vast jungle and forced you to manage your camouflage and survival skills by killing animals for food. The gameplay was top-notch, as was the emotionally wrenching story built around unforgettable charers. Well never forget what you did for your country Boss!
3. Shadow of the Colossus
Shadow of the Colossus is one of the most unique experiences gaming has to offer. We love the way in which the game has a calming effect on the player when you ride along long stretches of beautiful barren land. Until you meet one of the...

A couple of years ago we made a list with games that got pulled from stores. It included the likes of Flappy Bird, Too Human and even GTA San Andreas. But these are far from all the games that have disappeared into thin air. So get ready for another top 5 games pulled from stores.
5. The Guy Game
Ok, this game called ‘The Guy Game’ is infamous and not because of its quality. The game is actually pretty shitty, but it became rare because it got pulled short after its release. It contained some footage of an underaged model who stated she wasn’t properly informed about the show she appeared on. A lawsuit followed and stores had to pull the game from their shelves. This made the price of second hand copies skyrocket, giving this mediocre garbage a value it doesn't deserve.
4. Scott Pilgrim vs. The World
Scott Pilgrim vs. The World was an amazing comic adaptation we enjoyed a lot on the silver screen. Though its videogame might even be a little better. This 2D beat’m up adapted the graphical style of the original comic and is playable with four players at the same time. It even got DLC three years after its release? Unfortunately the game got delisted in 2014 by Ubisoft, because it’s licencing deal expired. Though there seems to...

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Nintendo 64. The legendary console had some of the best games ever, but it also had its fair share of awful ones. Have a look at our top 5 worst Nintendo 64 games of all time!
5. Mega Man 64
Mega Man 64 is a bad port of the Playstation game Mega Man Legends. While Mario and Zelda made successful leaps into 3D, Mega Man clearly didn't as you can see in this crappy game. Mega Man 64 had wonky controls, poorly designed enemies and boring environments. The voice of the loveable boy robot was extremely annoying too. The whole thing is an absolute disgrace to the entire Mega Man franchise.
Daikatana is a textbook case of a game not living up to its hype. Touted as the next game from John Romero who is the co-creator of Doom, the expectations were sky high. When it finally came out it was a huge disappointment. The Nintendo 64 version is one of the worst versions of the game as well. The graphics were ugly, the AI was horrific and the level design was just plain bad. This game is an insult to first person shooters worldwide.

Arcade games should provide a unique experience, one that you can’t get anywhere else. The arcade machines in this video certainly deliver in that aspect. Here is our top 5 weirdest arcade games ever and to no one's surprise most of these can be found in Japan.
5. Densha de Go!
Densha de Go! or “Let’s Go By Train!" is actually a relatively normal game. You take the role of a train driver driving actual train routes in Japan while following a very strict schedule. The game is extremely difficult to play. You have to stop within 30 centimeters of the prescribed point and you can’t be more than half a second late. The Japanese don’t mess around when it comes to public transport!
4. Super Table Flip
Who didn’t at one point in their life want to flip a table in anger? That's the premise of Super Table Flip. You play an angry father who has just received some bad news and totally loses his shit at the dinner table. You need to smash your hands as hard as you can on a real table that’s part of the arcade cabinet. The harder you hit it the more your on-screen family trembles in fear. Arrrrrrg!

Sometimes you just want to be bad. That's not as easy as it sounds in the white knight world of video games. However we did manage to find some games that let you act out your more evil fantasies. Here is our top 5 games where you play the bad guy!
5. Dungeon Keeper series
Dungeon Keeper makes you run a dungeon full of evil creatures. After you have built your demonic dungeon of doom it’s time to lure in heroes that you can then exterminate. You can also torture enemies to death and do other dastardly deeds. It's a reversal of the typical dungeon crawler, and one that works quite well.
4. Overlord series
You're literally the Dark Lord using evil minions to take over the world in the Overlord series. There is simply no way you can go through the campaign without being a murderous evil monster from hell. The games have a classic western fantasy motif and lots of tongue in cheek humor. It’s good to be bad when you’re the dark lord.
3. Destroy all Humans! series
True to its title, Destroy all Humans! cast the player in the role of an alien bent on destroying humans. These game are all about being bad in a B-movie kind of way. It’s great fun to finally be on the other side of an alien invasion and cause as...

Metacritic has been keeping track of review scores for entertainment for a pretty long time now. So we decided to round-up the worst scoring games of all time. What qualifies the game to be on the list is that it must have the worst metascore and it must be a retail box release. So let’s take a look at the absolute worst of the worst in gaming!
5. Anubis II - Wii
Anubis II is a title by Data Design Interactive, a developer that has been known for recycling code. They implemented the gameplay and controls from their first game NinjaBread Man into titles like Anubis II, Myth Makers: Trixie in Toyland and Rock ‘n’ Roll Adventures. Unfortunately the gameplay and controls they copied were pretty terrible to begin with. Thankfully Data Design Interactive is no longer plaguing the world with similar games after ceasing development in 2009
4. Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust - PS3
The Leisure Suit Larry saga got completely ruined by the abysmal Box Office Bust. The jokes in this game consist of fart noises, pathetic sexual innuendo and practically stillborn puns. Then there are also a bunch of mini-games that control terribly. This game took away all the respect and love gamers had for the once great franchise. At least the developers...

Robocop. Terminator. Bladerunner. The rise of technological advancement always goes hand in hand with the breakdown of society. We call this Cyberpunk. And obviously there have been many games based around this theme. With Deus Ex: Mankind Divided coming up, we take a look at the Top 5 Best Cyberpunk games.
Please note that for this list we stay away from games based on movies, like Bladerunner, The Matrix and Ghost in the Shell.
5. Syndicate series
Syndicate is one of the oldest series in the Cyberpunk video game genre. In Syndicate Wars, corporations and Artificial Intelligence have taken over the world. And of course you are one of the last free people trying to reclaim your freedom. Syndicate Wars served as the main inspiration for the recently released tactical game Satellite Reign and it also spawned a great shooter a few years back.
Even though Shadowrun has its roots in board games, it also has some very decent video game adaptations. Both Shadowrun Returns and Shadowrun Hong Kong are excellent turn based tactical role playing games. They tell a deep story about power struggles and people being suppressed by evil corporations. However, Shadowrun is not a pure Cyberpunk game, because magic is also part...

Sometimes video games based on movies make you think: “How the hell did they come up with that idea?” Some of these video games just don’t fit the movie or make use of the franchise in a horrible way. So grab some popcorn because here’s the Top 5 video games that have little to do with the movies they are based on.
5. Star Wars Masters of Teras Kasi
Do you wanna see Princess Leia beat the shit out of Darth Vader or Chewbacca? Well, now you can! Star Wars: Masters of Teras Kasi is a pretty cool idea that unfortunately was executed pretty badly. It is definitely one of the crappier fighting games that was ever released on the Playstation because of the clunky controls and the unbalanced gameplay. The force is pretty weak with this one.
4. Jaws Unleashed
Jaws is a fantastic film directed by Steven Spielberg that spawned an almost endless amount of bad sequels and also a few games. The charm of the first movie was the fact that you didn’t see the shark that much, but the films music and suspense suggested that it was always nearby. Oddly enough you take on the role of the shark instead of the people who are hunting it in the video game. What’s left is a shark-havoc simulator that sadly couldn’t impress us at all. Maybe...

We’ve seen a lot of great western games over the last few years. But which game lets you play the role of a bad ass cowboy the best? To end this debate we’ll give you our top 5 - western games.
Gun was made by Neversoft, the guys behind the brilliant first few Tony Hawk games. In this game you play the role of Colton White who chases after the murderers of his father. The Wild West really came to life in this open world game. People even called this a 19th century GTA, until that other game came out of course.
4. Sunset Riders
In the early nineties Konami was king of four player run and gun action games and Sunset Riders was definitely one of the better ones. Even the home versions were a joy to play. We especially like the sections where you had to blast your way through the west on horseback. Sunset Riders is a great couch co-op game that’s still fun today.
3. Red Steel 2
Red Steel 2 was the one of the first games that used the Motion Plus upgrade for the Wii Mote. This sequel to the very shallow launch title was everything its predecessor should have been. It might seem a little weird to use a sword in a Western themed game but we quickly got over that because it felt so great. Besides how can...

There are some developers out there that reward lazy gamers. However the games on this list take things to a Homer Simpson level of laziness. Get ready for the top 5 games that reward you for doing absolutely nothing!
5. Fable 2
Playing Fable 2 is already not that much of a challenge, but you can make things even easier by buying a lot of houses and shops. They earn you money even when you are not playing the game. Come back a week later and you’ll be filthy rich. This way you can simply buy all the gear you need to finish this game!
4. The Stanley Parable
The Stanley Parable is full of amazing achievements like trying to jump or clicking a door 430 times. But nothing beats the “Go Outside” achievement. This one wants you the gamer to actually go outside. Just shut down the game, wait for 5 years, come back and start playing again. BAM! Achievement unlocked. But of course, instead of waiting for 5 years, you can also just change the date on your computer. But where is the fun in that?
3. Final Fantasy 5
Fighting Gogo in Final Fantasy 5 is one of the most annoying things ever. His moves can wipe your party very easily in just three turns. The fight will only start to make sense when you realize he is a...

Sometimes games get cancelled because they are way too ambitious, get tangled in licensing problems or get stuck in development hell. Sometimes we simply never hear from an announced title ever again without knowing why. Here are five games that are still missing in action!
5. Star Wars Battlefront 3
In 2015 we saw the third major release in the Star Wars Battlefront series. But the third installment in the series didn’t always look like that. Free Radical Design, the guys behind the Timesplitters series, made a sequel that looked and played much more like the older games did. Unfortunately it went into development hell making Star Wars Battlefront III a game that was almost finished but never saw the light of day.
4. Super Mario 128
Super Mario 128 was a cute tech demo to show of what the new Nintendo Gamecube could do. But it also became a synonym for the real Super Mario 64 sequel we never got to play. It has been said that Super Mario 128 partially evolved into Pikmin, another of Miyamoto’s brilliant creations. Do you think we will see a proper Super Mario 128 in the next few years?

Here's the ultimate ranking of only the best games coming out on PC, Xbox One, Playstation 4 and Wii U. Get ready for our top 5 games of E3 2016!
5. God of War - TBD
Kratos now has an epic beard and prefers cold scandinavia over the warmth of Greece. The new God of War based on Norse mythology looks absolutely incredible. Kratos is now a father and trying to teach his son all his skills. This will obviously mean lots of brutal fighting and perhaps even taking on Norse gods like Odin and Thor!
4. Mafia 3 - Oct 7th 2016
When the Italian mob threatens to take away everything you love it’s time to fight fire with fire. In Mafia 3 you play Lincoln Clay, a Vietnam War veteran on a quest to build his own crime empire. Set in 1968 in the warm and sweaty Louisiana the game instantly has lots and lots of style. The open world gameplay makes us very excited and did we mention it has a great soundtrack too?
3. Battlefield 1 - Oct 21st
The Battlefield series is taking us back to the times of the Great War. No drones or ordering airstrikes but intense combat from the early 20th century. Think about the first fighter planes, majestic zeppelins, the first tanks on the battlefield and above all, the brutal hand to hand combat...

Most games take 3 to 4 years to develop but sometimes things take a little longer. Just look at the 15 year development cycle of Duke Nukem Forever .. and that game turned out to be awful. That’s not the case for the games on this list. Here is our Top 5 Games that were worth the wait!
#5 - Diablo 3 - 11 years (2001 - 2012)
Blizzard begun working on Diablo 3 in 2001 and they made and scrapped three versions until it finally met their high standards. Eleven years later the hack & slash game was released, but not without controversy. The game required a permanent internet connection and had a real money auction house players didn’t love. They kept updating it until it was the never ending loot fest we call Diablo 3 today.
#4 - DOOM - 9 years (2007 - 2016)
In August 2007 John Carmack dropped some hints about DOOM 4 and it was officially announced in May 2008. It took them 9 years and three different versions until they settled on the final game. At one point DOOM 4 even looked a lot like Call of Duty so let’s all be glad they took some extra time. The reboot completely shifted gears and gave us old school demon slaying action with modern graphics.
#3 - Fallout 3 - 6 years (2002 - 2008)
In 2002, or perhaps...

Almost all video game developers have some bad work in their catalog. Making games is a learning process you know. Get ready for our top 5 bad games made by great developers!
5. Gearbox Software - Aliens Colonial Marines
The studio that gave us awesome franchises like Brothers in Arms and Borderlands also gave us Aliens Colonial Marines. Despite the enormous potential, Gearbox Software and SEGA still managed to mess things up. Bad management resulted in an often delayed yet still rushed product. It was full of bugs, unbalanced gameplay, bad A.I. and low quality graphics. Together with Duke Nukem Forever this game tained the good name of Gearbox Software.
4. Treasure - Stretch Panic / Freak Out
The Japanese Treasure game studio is famous for great bullet hell shooters like Ikaruga, Sin & Punishment and Gunstar Heroes. They are also responsible for Stretch Panic. This very underwhelming PS2 game makes you use a scarf to defeat the bad guys. The art style is pretty nice but the repetitive gameplay ruins the entire experience. Sometimes it’s better to stick to enormous space lasers instead of scarfs.
3. Tetsuya Mizuguchi / Phantagram - Ninty Nine Nights
Let’s have the designer of hits like Rez and Lumines work...

Sometimes games are so good we actually finished them and on top of that, had to go back for second helpings. In this top 5 we only list story-rich single player games that encourage replayability. So sport, strategy, racing and fighting games are out. Get ready for the top 5 replayable games!
5. Until Dawn
Until Dawn is the perfect game to replay over and over because you will be wondering what would have happened if you did something differently. It’s really fun to see all the different deaths at least once. It’s also an absurdly entertaining party game you can always fire up when you have a couple of friends over. Assign every friend to a different character and see who lasts the longest.
The new Hitman game is all about replayability. The developer even decided to release it episodically to encourage players to spend more time with every single mission. Hitman lets you plan the perfect assassination or just mess around for the fun of it. It’s the sort gameplay that never gets old.
Undertale is an epic indie game that you can beat in a short six hours. But you’ll immediately want to start another playthrough. There's immense replay value to be had in deciding whether to spare...

Games, games, games, we’re talking about them all the time, but which ones did actually sell the most copies? We tried to find the answer on this question by looking up which physical video game sold the most on a single platform. Oh, and we didn’t count the pack-in titles to keep the list a bit more fair. Yep, we also left out Wii Play, because it was basically a controller with a mediocre minigame compilation. So here is the top 5 best selling video games ever!
5. New Super Mario Bros Wii - 29+ million
Expect a lot of Nintendo Love on this list starting with Super Mario Bros Wii edition. The Wii edition of this game brought the Super Mario 2D platform game back in the living room. Although it's definitely not the best in the series, it proves to be the most popular for the consoles with over 29 million copies sold. That’s quite a lot for a small plumber.
4. New Super Mario Bros - 30+ million
Yup yup. We just saw its big brother, but this one started it all back in 2006. After years of 2D platform absence the red mustached plumber suddenly was back in the game. New Super Mario Bros jumped its way to more than 30 million copies, which makes it the best sold Nintendo DS title ever. The game already got three proper sequels and...

With Battlefield 1 set in World War 1 we thought it would be a good time to take a look at other games that take place in this horrific setting. As it turns out the greatest and most brutal war of them all didn’t get that much attention when it comes to video games. Here’s our top 5 World War I games!
5. Battle of Empires: 1914-1918
Real Time Strategy games based on the First World War are few and far between, but the recent Battle of Empires is quite enjoyable. The game contains multiple campaigns that are devoted to the countries that had a leading part in this worldwide conflict. One of the highlights is the option to play the campaign cooperatively. This way it seems like you are one of the generals on the battlefield yourself!
4. Red Baron
A lot of the games that are based on the First World War are flight games and Sierra’s Red Baron is one of the best. The game, based on the legendary German pilot Manfred von Richthofen, is definitely the most well known. In 1990 this game shook the world with its realistic graphics and great gameplay. They tried to resurrect it back in 2013 on Kickstarter but unfortunately the project went down in flames.
3. Toy Soldiers
In the Xbox 360 Arcade exclusive Toy Soldiers...
