Twenty One Pilots dropped NEW INFORMATION!

I want to focus on the page from Clancy’s journal.

If you don’t know what that is, basically, there’s a secret website with a lot of strange images.

And when Josh told us all that Tyler was cutting ties with Dema, it was indeed about towers of silence, and when the eye closed on the word silence when the Twitter went inactive, it was all leading into this.

And Dema is the name of an organization that supposedly Tyler or Tyler and Josh are metaphorically part of .

Basically, there’s a map that seems to be of Dema. It has nine sections, each with a weird name that’s a snapshot of letters from a Blurryface song (like “Choke on Smoke” becomes “Keons”), and these are the names of Bishops that run one ninth of the town. On the outskirts of town is a cemetery or “necropolis.” City of the dead, which fits with the towers of silence.

There’s a lot here, but let’s turn our attention to the page from the journal. I teach literary analysis at the college level, and this is very intentionally written as a piece of literature, so I feel like I have a level-headed, cautious perspective to offer.

Basically, in this journal, we see a world being...

Bill Gates played white with 2 minutes against the current World Chess Champion Magnus Carlsen, who only had 30 seconds. Carlsen played for a trick, and was clearly successful. The game only took 9 moves before Gates found himself in checkmate.

Instructive game tags: Hetul Shah, nine-year-old grandmaster slayer
1/13/2009 – This has to be one for the record books. At the Parsvnath Open in New Delhi the nine-year-old Hetul Shah defeated an experienced grandmaster, with the black pieces, in a regular tournament game with FIDE time controls. His opponent was 31-year-old Kasakh GM Nurlan Ibrayev, rated almost 600 points higher than the kid, and now probably the world's most embarrassed GM.

Youngest Chess Player To Have Defeated A Chess Grandmaster In An Official Standard Time Control Game

Details:
This occurred on January 11, 2009 at the 7th Parsvnath International Open tornament in New Delhi, India.

I had a little fun playing around with a fairly new feature on lichess.org. As a Master player, the vast majority of the little tests thrown my way were quite simple of course, but nevertheless I found it interesting and on a few occasions a little challenging. The challenges were the ones that tested my calculation several moves deep. Overall, a pretty fun and interactive way to learn about the basic rules of the great game of chess with some calculation exercises incorporated.

Here is a video that covers all the rules:

I'm a self-taught National Master in chess out of Pennsylvania, USA who was introduced to the game by my father in 1988 at the age of 8. The purpose of this channel is to share my knowledge of chess to help others improve their game. I enjoy continuing to improve my understanding of this great game, albeit slowly. AlphaZero is a computer program developed by the Alphabet-owned AI research company DeepMind, which uses an approach similar to AlphaGo Zero's to master not just Go, but also chess and shogi.
